Industries
We hire for complexity, not for industry codes.
Every sector has its own financial rhythm. What decides whether an accounting team can help you is how complex your business has become, and how fast that complexity is changing.
Industry knowledge matters. It is just not the thing that decides fit.
Plenty of firms lead with a vertical. The problem is that two companies in the same industry can need completely different things, and two companies in different industries often need exactly the same thing.
What we actually match on
Revenue band, headcount, entity structure, inventory, multi-state exposure, and whether a lender, board, or auditor is asking real questions.
Where industry knowledge earns its keep
Revenue recognition, cost structure, the metrics your buyers and lenders care about, and the compliance calendar specific to your sector.
What it does not tell you
A 40 person IT services firm with three acquisitions behind it has more in common with a 40 person agency than with a two person startup in its own industry.
Sectors we publish guidance on
These are the industries where we have enough repeat experience to say something specific. If yours is not listed, it does not mean we cannot help.
We go past bookkeeping because bookkeeping does not answer the question.
Your books should reflect the reality of your business, not a generic chart of accounts applied to it. That means knowing which metrics matter in your space, which costs belong in cost of revenue, and what an outside reader will look for first.
Whether you are an early-stage company burning runway or an established business managing multi-entity financials, the work is the same in shape and very different in detail.
Where we fit best
- Up to 200M in revenue
- 10 to 200 employees
- Multi-entity, multi-state, or inventory complexity
- A lender, board, or auditor asking real questions
- No full-time controller, or one who is underwater
