Payroll
People get paid correctly, on time, every period.
Payroll is the one process where a mistake is immediately personal. We run it accurately, keep you compliant with California rules, and make sure the data lands cleanly in your general ledger.
Payroll goes wrong in two places
The first is compliance. California is among the least forgiving states in the country for payroll, and the penalties for classification errors, missed filings, or mishandled final paychecks land on the employer regardless of who ran the process.
The second is the handoff. Payroll usually runs in one system and the books live in another, so the general ledger export becomes a monthly reconciliation problem nobody owns. We treat payroll as part of the accounting function rather than a separate errand, which is why the numbers agree at month end.
